Dating Your Co-Worker Or Boss

That's a million-dollar question! Dating your colleague or director, somebody you see at least 5 days each week, 8 hours or even more a day, why not? Well, that depends if dating your colleague will create issues at work for you. Potentially not an excellent idea to date your supervisor, this can cause issues for you along the line. Imagine, you're in the company cafe chatting to your colleague that you date. Sally and John just walked into the cafe and they right away start staring and murmuring to themselves about the two of you.

You know they're talking about you because they look in your direction steadily while they murmur. You and the colleague you date, feel extraordinarily uncomfortable with Sally and John's reaction to you having lunch together. You think to yourselves that it might have been a mistake for you to have lunch together in the refectory where you're employed. You're now going to be the subject of your other colleague's conversation you suspect, thanks to Sally and John who are known in the office as the king and queen of gossiping at your job.

You both now ponder whether both of you should be dating and what were you thinking when you made a decision to have lunch together in the company''s cafeteria. What kind of issues could date your colleague or perhaps your administrator cause? Well, what if you get into a debate at home or while you are on a date, when you return to work you have got to see that person just about every day! If that individual is your administrator, then you might presumably loose that promotion you worked so very hard for or perhaps you have got to walk on eggshells while you're at work!

This may make you feel awfully uncomfortable. Or, if you're getting along well with the colleague or manager you're dating, your colleagues may think when they see you together that you could be getting special treatment. Particularly if the administrator you are dating favors you and gives you a promotion. This may lead to a problem for the two of you.

If you just need to date your colleague or chief, consider keeping your private relationship outside of the office! When you take part in this kind of relationship, keep it professional at work and private outside of office. This is vital in keeping the work place rumor mill low on having information regarding you and your colleague dating. Only you'll know if dating your coworker or supervisor will be a brilliant idea for you. If you don't believe this could lead to a problem, then go for it! There are plenty of folks that have found their soul pals in the office. So do what makes you satisfied, after all you are in charge of your own destiny and love life.
